From the commencement of Green Willow Funerals, the company's founder and Managing Director John Bettles and the staff team have ensured that the client is given every opportunity to give the instructions for the funeral that they want for their loved one. Non religious services take place on a regular basis and there are now over 200 woodland burial grounds where eco - friendly funerals and burials can take place. You will see from our coffin page that there are many choices now of type of coffin, from the more tradition to the eco - friendly option or the more personalised decorated by your family or even pre-purchased and decorated by you!

Transportation options

More recently the mode of transport chosen for that last journey:  the alternative to the Hearse has become yet another option which you or your family may wish to consider. Green Willow Funerals are able to offer a wide selection of transport from the tradition motorised hearse or traditional 2 black Shire Horses and Carriage, motorcycle and side car, Vintage Lorry, or a simple Estate car.  Virtually anything is now possible and at Green Willow Funerals we will be pleased to provide you with the transport of your choice. This provision and service is offered with the help of a team of professional enthusiasts and professionals who take pride in maintaining and providing your chosen type of transport.  Quotations for your preference and choice are available on request.  

Martha - Funerals - Lady Attendants

Green Willow Funerals has prioritised and provided lady attendants since the formation of the company and is proud to have been associated with being one of the independent funeral directors who have prioritised the importance of involving women in the profession which traditionally has been a male dominated profession. At Green Willow Funerals we can now offer a Female Funeral Director together with four female attendants to officiate at your funeral. We are also pleased to provide a female mortician if this service is required. Therefore if you or your loved one prefers to be attended only by women, a Martha's Funeral will meet your every need.
