Expressing Your Wishes and Pre-Paid Funeral Plan

The staff at Green Willow Funerals are always pleased to assist by helping to arrange your Pre-Need Funeral Plan. This can be achieved by us either sending details through the post, or arranging to meet with you personally to discuss in detail your requirements, either in the comfort of your home or at one of our Funeral Homes in Cardiff, Dinas Powys or Newport. Having drafted your instructions, we then on your behalf provide a more detailed document for your approval. On your confirmation, this document is then duly signed and returned to us by you. We then provide you with two copies for your personal use. We recommend one be kept in your safe keeping, the other to be given to your Executor or your Next of Kin. At all times our staff at Green Willow Funerals continue to be committed to help and assist you to ensure that you arrive at the Pre-Need Funeral Plan of your choice. Every effort will be made to offer this professional and specialised service and to assist you in the above. We are pleased to advise that we make no charge.

Many of our clients having made their pre-need funeral plan then decide to join our pre-payment scheme which establishes the total charge for your funeral in advance. This helps your family as they are then not only aware of your personal wishes, they are also relieved of the responsibility of meeting the funeral cost at both an unknown and difficult time.

Green Willow Funerals are committed to ensuring that at all times a dignified funeral service is provided. Our Pre-Need Plan and Pre-Payment schemes further off you a personalised confidential service.

The Charges for your Pre-Payment scheme are determined on your instructions as advised in your Pre-Need Plan. These are costed as if the funeral arrangements were being finalised at the date of the signed agreement. We endeavour to ensure your pre payment covers both our professional services and the disbursements*, as per your pre need instruction. Should at a later date you or your Next of Kin/Executor wish to amend your Pre-Need instructions, we would be pleased to be of assistance. Should the new instructions incur a greater cost, an additional charge will become payable at that time.

As Green Willow Funerals remains committed to reducing the cost of funerals, we only charge what is necessary to fulfil your instructions. Should you wish to receive further details on the pre-payment plan we recommend, our staff would be pleased to be of further assistance to you on request.

As independent funeral directors we are pleased to recommend Golden Charter funeral plans.

*Where the purchase of a new grave is required we recommend that the purchase is made at the same time that the Golden Charter pre payment plan is made; this fixes the cost and secures the grave for later use.
